Founder and Director
Mark started Firbanks as a sole trader in 1998, and it became a limited company in 2003. He's worked through every stage of business IT, from dial-up and the first office networks to cloud services and IoT, including spells with early-2000s tech start-ups. His background covers networks, security, Linux, Windows and Mac, mobile and Wi-Fi, servers and cloud. If there's an awkward question, Mark will find the answer, or tell you honestly if there isn't one.
Senior Technical Consultant
David has been part of Firbanks for around ten years. He handles much of our remote support and works hand in hand with Mark, so every customer has two people who know their setup. His speciality is Microsoft 365, SharePoint and the online services most businesses now run on, which makes him the person to talk to about email, file sharing, Teams and getting the most out of your licences.
We give advice first and tell you what we'd do if it were our business. We'll be straight with you about old kit rather than patching it up. We take security seriously enough to be Cyber Essentials certified ourselves. And when you call, your call is logged and passed straight to one of us.
