Firbanks IT can supply, repair and upgrade office equipment at your office for your convenience. We always have your costs and convenience in mind so if hardware breaks, we will assess whether we can make satifactory repairs at your premises or if if we cannot complete a repair onsite or it is more cost effective we can remove the hardware and repair the system at our workshops. For example a reinstall that may take a long time but does not require an engineer to sit in front of the machine and wait in anticipation to press the ‘ok’ button every now and again would save you money if we temporarily remove the hardware to our workshop.
Depending on the type of repair required, your business circumstances, and whether the hardware is critical to ongoing business operations, we may suggest a ‘collect and return repair’ whereby the labour costs are fixed so that you will know exactly how much the repair will cost and how long it will take. Parts that require replacing would be an additional cost – but we always seek your authority before incurring additional costs, we will keep you informed and discuss options first. We want you to be satisfied with Firbanks levels of customer support, and commitment to your best interests, as well as the quality of any repair.
Most faults can be repaired swiftly whether we carry out the repair onsite or need to return the hardware to our workshops. In some cases faults can be diagnosed remotely by our engineers enabling us to diagnose which software is failing and which hardware elements are required for the repair and be fully prepared to carry out a full repair onsite with a single visit, keeping your costs down and IT equipment working.

We can repair most hardware problems where it is economical to do so. Complete rebuilds to adding & configuring new memory, no job is too small.
